Keene, NH As a veteran law enforcement officer approaching 20 years of service, I developed what we often refer to in the law enforcement field as “tombstone courage” in regards to my health and wellness. I felt I was invincible. Having grown up always having a high metabolism I never worried that one day all the chips, soda, cake, candy, and donuts would catch up to me… I was warned by my fellow officers As a veteran law enforcement officer approaching 20 years of service, I developed what we often refer to in the law enforcement field as “tombstone courage” in regards to my health and wellness. I felt I was invincible. Having grown up always having a high metabolism I never worried that one day all the chips, soda, cake, candy, and donuts would catch up to me… I was warned by my fellow officers that it would catch up to me around 30 years old. Well 30 came and went. Age 35 came and went. As age 40 came and went, I started to take notice of my weight gain however I was able to hide my weight gain fairly well. Needless to say, I had now gained membership into that group of people who always wore a shirt everywhere they went, even at the beach. I contributed my weight gain to the fact that I worked in a profession that had irregular and often times long hours, rotating shifts, and getting a lunch or dinner break was contingent upon the call volume that particular day. I also contributed my weight gain towards the fact that I was getting older. They say that everyone in life has his/her defining moment; the moment that you decide to commit to something. Some people’s defining moments are huge, some are small and some are so subtle that you really have to look to find them. I had mine and I knew I needed to change. One night after getting home from work at 2:30AM, I saw the infomercial on P90X and that stirred my interest. Over the next few weeks I spent a lot of time researching P90X, reading the message boards and doing my due diligence. I found out my friend had purchased it a year ago and never did it, I asked to borrow it and that was the best decision I ever made. One of the benefits of being healthy and physically fit is that I was no longer spending large amounts of money on prescription medications. The extra money was going towards things that my family enjoyed, not to the health insurance company. I started the program in May 2010. I stand 5'10" and I started the program weighing 193 lbs, had a 35” pant size, had 25% body fat and looked like I swallowed a basketball. By the end of the program, I was 168 lbs, had a 31” pant size, 12% body fat and actually had 6 pack abs. The program worked just like it said it did. After P90X, I was hooked on Beachbody products. I went on to do Insanity and Asylum. I created my own P90X/Insanity Hybrid workout to train for the Tough Mudder Challenge. While others trained using cross fit, I used my P90X/Insanity Hybrid program. I finished the Tough Mudder competition at age 43. I am now looking forward to P90X-2! I am living proof that being over 40 is not too old to become physically fit. As I turn 44 years old in a few months I am living proof that you don’t have to be a young 20 something year old to achieve and maintain a high level of fitness using beachbody programs and products. Over the last year I have maintained my gains and currently stand at 5'10", weigh in at 174, have a 31” waist, and still have six pack abs. My entire career has been serving the public. Coaching is just another way I can serve the public. As a coach, I teamed up with some ordinary individuals and created “EliteHomeFitness.” Let us help you on your journey. Join EliteHomeFitness! It costs you nothing but your time!

When I first embarked on this journey towards becoming physically fit, I weighed 193 lbs. I had a 35" pant size and body fat percentage of 25. When I finished I lost 25 lbs and weighed in at 168. I lost 4 pant sizes and got down to a 31" pant size. My body fat percentage went from 25% to 12%. P90X truly delivered what it said it would.
Its been a little over a year and I am now weigh 174 lbs, still have a 31" waist and still maintain a 12% +/- body fat composition.
As a result of my transformation, I have more energy. I am less irritable. I don't get sick as often and when I do its less severe. I spend significantly less money on presription medications and overall I feel better about myself.
I also gave up my membership to the "never take your shift off at the beach" club. LOL!
