After the first 6 week cycle, I have lost 17 pounds - not as much as I had hoped, but at least I am making progress. Today I will start the 2nd 6 week cycle. I have dropped a full dress size and my clothes have gone from tourniquet tight to loose fitting. I went to my neice's birthday party in an outfit that I couldn't fit into for more than 2 years.

It has been fun going through my closet and wearing things that haven't seen light of day for many years. I have a large pile of clothes that I simply can not wear again because they are just TOO BIG!

I feel great and have a ton of energy. I'm looking forward to reporting great results in the next 6 weeks.

JANUARY 1, 2008
Since I last reported in, I have lost another 10 lbs. I actually have been at this weight give-or-take since Thanksgiving. The good news is that I managed to maintain the weight through a 3 week cruise and the Holidays.

With the New Year comes a renewed commitment to continue the journey toward a fit and healthy lifestyle. My goal is to lose another 50 lbs. by my birthday - July 21.

FEBRUARY 1, 2008
Ok. so January wasn't my best showing, but I do have a couple of sucesses to share. First, I have passed from the obese BMI to being merely overweight. That feels great to me, and really marks a milestone in my progress. Second, I went shopping for clothes because my pants were literally falling off. I went to the regular ladies area, choose a size 16 right off the rack and they fit! I can no longer get clothes from the plus size department!

My plan for February is to get on WOWY and be more diligent about my workout. See you there!
