Albuquerque, NM Hello to everyone that is reading this. My name is Mike, Team Beachbody screen name CoachRadRazor. People who know me call me Raz for short. Makes life 100 times easier when filled in a room with a bunch of Mikes haha. Before being over a year deep in doing Beachbody routines, I was a still the same person as I was when I first started. Though my attitude had changed for the better and my Hello to everyone that is reading this. Though my attitude had changed for the better and my health improved drastically, I was still the same guy. When I say that, I mean my mentality of health and wellness was still skewed.
I am a person, who for some reason or another, has to learn the hard way. I had thought that people could do what they want, eat what they want and be in the best physical shape possible. For a select few that is the case. But for me and many others, that wasn't even close to true. When my realization of that actually clicked, it was a feeling of relief. (Took me three times of realization...at least I know now!)
Now I am working at setting my eyes on new horizons and goals. Looking at things I had truly only thought you could achieve in movies with that movie magic or in video games with 3D special effects (Got to love the perversion of media in all forms!) are now stepping stones towards newer and higher goals. Now in my gaining knowledge and wisdom, I stay away from a lot of that, specifically news and most stuff that plays on television, as much as possible.
I am still a person who loves gaming in all shapes and forms but I have to admit that I don't play as much as i use to. Learning new things and engaging with people, young and old, friend or new face is something I am enjoying a lot more. I still put in a video game from time to time to let myself get lost. I still prefer to lose myself in a book of self development. Constant improvement is something I am all for and I am learning patients to go about it. Just like with my health and fitness journey, it didn't happen over night. It took time and patients, the two most blessed things we have in our world.
I am still a nerd & a hardcore gamer at heart. I love my video games, card games, sci-fi anything, zombies/aliens and the occasional conspiracy theory. (Don't worry, I like to listen with an open mind, it is up to me if I need to make and wear an aluminum hat.) I am still pumped about cutting down and bulking up! I want to be one buff, cut nerd! Yeah! Just keep pushing play!
My Heroes: The military, fire fighters, law enforcement, paramedics, the Freemason, Shriners, and everyone associated with them, anyone who over comes "the impossible", Solid Snake, the Original Enterprise cast/crew, Jet Li, Dr. Michio Kaku and many, many more I can't think of right now haha.

Life has changed for the positive and it started immediately after the first round of P90X! I carried the momentum from the first round of P90X into two additional rounds. Though I stayed relatively the same weight during my rounds of P90X, I never plateaued visually or strength wise! Next, I manned up and decided to do Insanity. I completed it on Sep. 27th 2012, dropping even more weight, toned up and gained definition. Now I am on my first round of P90X2! The mental anguish I use to put myself through has disappeared and I am glad!! I finally feel comfortable in my own skin, not worrying what others think about me. I am healthy and in the best physical shape of my life! I am now stronger, faster, and mentally able to take on the world! I have confidence in myself again, something I haven't had in years.
I am now prepping to go to my high school reunion, something I swore I would not go unless I was fit! I also set a goal of doing a 5K and 10K run, the Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, and Warrior Dash by 2014. Depending on how my endurance is, I will add a marathon on top of this list as well! Possibly, a super marathon! I would have never thought of doing any of those things before hoping on board the P90X train!
