Transformation story

I began my transformation at the beginning of 2010 at 123 lbs all of 5'2". This calculated at 31% body fat and a BMI of 22.5.

I began my transformation at the beginning of 2010 at 123 lbs all of 5'2". This calculated at 31% body fat and a BMI of 22.5.

At first I engaged in the classic p90x for 3 weeks and was not liking the results so I then started over with the lean p90x and that lasted 2 weeks. I am a very impatient person and wanted to see my youthful 20's again and that was not happening yet, so I quit. I didn't start back up again until May and this time I did the classic p90x for the full 90 days. Now I am training for a 1/2 marathon and doing just the upperbody workouts of p90x and ab-ripper x.

My current weight is 114 and I am at 23% body fat and 20.8 BMI.

I have not yet achieved my overall goal so the transformation is still a work in progress, but I do know I will not start and stop again as consistency is the one of the main keys.

I have also developed and maintained a clean diet of no processed foods or refined sugars and use shakeology on a daily basis. As Tony Horton says: "Abs are made in the kitchen". Proper nutrition is which is also key.

Oh did I mention that I turned 50 during this transformation.
