In Spring of 2008, I was pregnant with my second child. While channel surfing one evening, my husband stumbled on the P90X infomercial. We watched it. Then we watched it again a few days later. "We should do this," Zach said. "Talk to me in a couple months!" I said.
So, six Let's bring it in 2012! I want to help you get in the best shape of your life.

In Spring of 2008, I was pregnant with my second child. While channel surfing one evening, my husband stumbled on the P90X infomercial. We watched it. Then we watched it again a few days later. "We should do this," Zach said. "Talk to me in a couple months!" I said.
So, six weeks after the birth of my daughter, he brought it up again. "We really should try this!" he said. I had to admit, the infomercial was pretty impressive, and I was up to try something new since the idea of pushing TWO kids in a jogging stroller didn't sound like too much fun.
We ordered P90X and anxiously awaited our package in the mail. I was scared, I'm not afraid to admit. I'd never embarked on such an intense exercise regimen before...and I'd never agreed to rise and shine at 5am to get a workout done before, either. But that's what we did. And we kept doing it for 30, 60, 90 days. And when it was over, we were so impressed with our results and the way we felt, that we started over again! And again! And again!
Now it's been more than three years, and Zach and I are still doing P90X, P90X Plus, and Tony Horton's One on One workouts. We've also done RevAbs, Insanity: The Asylum, and P90X2.
I love P90X not only for the level of fitness I've achieved, but also for the time and fun I've shared with my husband. We have a shared goal that we talk about, plan for, and meet for every morning. It's changed the way we look at exercise, fitness, and diet in ways I didn't think possible.
As a Beachbody Coach, I hope I can pass along some of the enthusiasm I feel for this program. I would like others to feel the same pride of accomplishment that I felt after making a positive change in my life.

In August, 2008 I was six weeks postpartum and needed to get back in the gym. Like most moms, my stomach muscles had taken a beating, and I needed to lose about 15 pounds. Prior to starting More ...
In August, 2008 I was six weeks postpartum and needed to get back in the gym. Like most moms, my stomach muscles had taken a beating, and I needed to lose about 15 pounds.
Prior to starting P90X, I was jogging and competing in occasional 5Ks and 10Ks. I had not been lifting any weights or doing any resistance training.
Throughout my first 90 days I saw an amazing transformation in my body, but a couple major things stick out in my mind.
During my P90X fit test, I could not do even a quarter of a pull up. By the time I finished my first 90 days, I could do one or two. By the time I finished my third round, I could do six to eight.
Once we started P90X, my husband and I didn't have much time for running anymore. However, we wanted to participate in the 5K taking place in our community shortly after we finished our first round. We ran the race with very little training, and both of us finished with our best times ever, shaving off about two minutes from our normal 5K running time!
I was amazed at how the combination of resistance training and aerobic activity could have such a major impact on our running time.
I am a believer in the P90X program!
