I've successfully maintained a weight loss of ninety pounds for over five years now thanks to a balanced diet and a consistent exercise program (a mix & match of strength training, running, Insanity and P90X). I wasn't skinny when I was a kid, but I wasn't fat either. I never learned what healthy eating was from my parents (Well, they considered marshmallow fluff healthy). When I hit college I gained the freshman 15 and much more! I'm 5'5" and weighed over 200 pounds fresh out of college. I didn't like how I felt or how I looked, I also didn't have a lot of energy. I started trying to lose weight and get healthier and found BeachBody. I've done several of their workout programs (including the hard ones like Insanity and P90x). I love to play sports, but my knees hate it apparently... I've had 4 knee surgeries... but I can still keep up with Shaun T on Insanity! Ha.

After my last knee surgery October 2010, I'm starting to feel fit again... I have more energy, my clothes are fitting better and most of all I feel great about myself! I'm a volunteer firefighter now, and the extra muscle and energy certainly helps!

Just recently (June 2013) finished an Ironman 70.3 with the help of Beachbody and their programs!
