Fitness has always been a part of my life. Since I was small, I've enjoyed running around, playing kickball, racing, etc. I would love to race the boys in my class because I always liked the challenge :-). I've found that sports and fitness bring out the competitor in me. I give it all I got and encourage the people around me to the same.

Well it's December 8th 2010 and my daughter Kima is a little over 2 months old. I started Insanity with my good sisterfriend Stacie 2 days ago and it's going well so far. I was very active before and during my pregnancy, but the baby weight just kept piling on. I think by the time I delivered I was 196lbs!

Now I'm 172 and want to get down to 150. I'm looking to get lean and tight. I'm nursing so I know have to make sure a continue to consume enough calories to produce milk, but not too much that I'm not losing weight/inches. It will be a balancing act I'm sure.

My short term goal is to complete each day of the Insanity workout (6 days straight). It's helpful having a partner to help you stay accountable. I will check back soon.
