My goals are to get in the best shape of my life and to share my experiences with others so they can do the same. I struggled with my weight consistently since I can remember. I'd go through periods when I was in pretty good shape. Then I would slip back into bad habits and gain all the weight back. I hit my low in the winter of 2010 at 235 lbs. I felt and looked terrible! I realized that I needed a program that allowed my to be consistent and that I needed a source of accountability. Thats when I discovered P90X, Shakeology, and the Team Beachbody message boards.
I started my first round of P90X in January of 2011. It was great because I could do it on the road. I also could save the travel time I used to spend going to/from the gym. I lost 10 lbs and could see changes, but it was still tough to stay on track so I wasn't getting the max benefit. I was missing accountability. I discovered the Team Beachbody message boards in September of 2012. That was the accountability I needed. Now I've completed P90X, Insanity, Asylum, and am doing Les Mills Combat right not. I've lost a total of 30 lbs, 7 inches on my waist, and 7% bodyfat.
In September 2012 I decided to become a Team Beachbody Coach. The happiness and pride that I've experienced through Beachbody programs is amazing. Never before had I found a way to stay on track and achieve my goals consistently. I wanted to share my experiences and help others achieve their goals. Me and my team and I can give you inspiration, information, encouragement and accountability that you need to achieve your gaols. No matter what workout program you are doing, I'm here to help.
I have one of the most active message board threads. We have an amazing group that will keep you motivated and accountable. Join us at:

I started with Team Beachbody in January of 2011. A lack of consistency was a big reason why I hadn't been getting the results I wanted. So I chose P90X because I thought I could do it at home and on the road. That meant I could stay consistent when I traveled for work and/or if I had limited time to work out. I did P90X lean and lost 15 lbs. Then I decided II'd go back to normal gym workouts. I tried getting into distance running and lost some weight. I even did a marathon, half-marathon, etc. However, I ended up gaining all the weight back that I lost on P90X. Then I realized that I needed more accountability to drive me. So I signed up for the 2012 Golds Gym Challenge. BUT I didn't go to the gym. I did my second round of P90X. I WON the local challenge for my age group by losing 27 lbs in 12 weeks while gaining musclde and strength. Then I wrecked my motorcycle on Memorial Day (2012). I was completly unable to exercise for 8 weeks. I fell off the wagon big time. I just let my diet go and gained a bunch of weight back. I've gotten back on track now, but wanted to kick it up a notch and drop more weight quickly. So I did Insanity and LOVED IT!! I lost 7 llbs and 3" off both my waist and hips. My core got a whole lot stonger and looks far better. I'm very happy with the results.
I've decided to do Les Mills Combat next because it looks like alot of fun. My workout group is still finishing up with Insanity so I'm going to wait for them. In the mean time I'm going to mix some P90X, Insanity, TurboFire, and maybe Insanity Asylum.

01/19/13 Well...I decided to switch to doing another round of Insanity. I'm actually doing an Insanity/P90X/Combat hybrid. Les Mills Combat just isn't as intense as Insanity and I have a weekend More ... 12/29/12 Its been a while since I posted so I figured I'd give an update on my status.
