I am a 37 year old Navy veteran. I served 14 years in the military prior to being honorably discharged. I have a wonderful wife and two wonderful kids, Christopher (13) and Cierra (8). We are a strong Christian family and business owners. I have three online businesses, one based out of Aruba, and a gift store. I currently reside in Denver, CO but I was born in and raised in St. Louis, MO. I am a 37 year old Navy veteran. I served 14 years in the military prior to being honorably discharged. I have always been into fitness, I enjoy riding motorcycles and martial arts. I have suffered many physical set backs and I truly desire to have the body of my dreams. I recently visited a doctor in Curacao regarding my headaches and he changed my entire diet. This resulted in fat loss, but what I was missing is that ripped look. I have always admired Tony and have a few of his videos, but when I saw the results of P90X, I figured that I can commit to a 90 day routine if results like that were guaranteed.
I want to be a good example for my son, both physically and spirtually as I see him struggle with his weight. I look forward to seeing the new me before my birthday in November.

Growing up I was a rather skinny child with an incredible metabolism. There was nothing I couldn't eat and gaining weight was foreign to me. When I entered college I was about 5' 7" and 138lbs. My second semester of my freshman year I met my current wife Cynthia. She was my first real love and we began to do everything together, including eating out quite often. Soon I began to start gaining weight. I had grown to about 150 lbs, but I still looked fine. In 1990 Cynthia and I got married and we began our married life. My wife wasn't an accomplished cook, so again we began to eat out and still some weight came on us. Now I was about 160. I started seeing some fat around the waist, but I was still about a 31, so I wasn't worried. In 1993 I joined the Navy. One with think that I surely would be in top shape once I joined the military. Think again, my 14 year career was full of life changing injuries and I found myself nearing 180lbs.
When I got out of the Navy in 2007, I was around 205lbs. Big difference from graduating high school at a whopping 140lbs wet!! Now I can say all of that weight wasn't pure fat, I did take on a weight lifting regiment and I did pack on some muscle, but not enought to show through the fat that did accumulate. Disgusted with my body shape I began to seek advice from all over. I eventually found myself in a doctors office on the Caribbean Island of Curacao. One of the herbal doctors, we set out to find out why I had been suffering from horrible headaches since the age of 7. He discovered that my blood type and the foods I were eating were contradicting one another and was causing the headaches. That I had too much sugar in my bloodstream that had metabolized into alcohol that my kidney was also being adversely affected. Immediately I changed my diet and eliminated sugars completely out of my diet. Returing to the states, I saw a Beachbody commercial talking about this program called P90X. The results I saw were incredible and I thought to myself I could press for 90 days to get those results. I ordered the course. I did not expect to be challenged the way I was. After completing the course in the fall of 2007, I went from 220 lbs to 185 lbs. I was leaner and muscular than I had been in almost 10 years and was in the best shape of my life.
On November 19th 2007, I was on my way home from work riding my motorcycle in rush hour traffic. Suddenly I was run off the road by a SUV and crashed my bike. I suffered a broken wrist, concussion and road abrasion on both knees. I was unable to exercise for almost two months. I immediately found myself slipping into a depression and the weight began to come back. I abandoned my sugar ban and of course the headaches returned along with the weight.
I ordered several other beachbody products (10 min trainer, Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6) and had some moderately good results, but I let life get in the way and I yo-yo'd. Although I didn't gain all the weight back, I did gain a significant amount. This year I am committed to getting those six pack abs that I promised myself some years back. I recently bought Insanity and I have never met a workout like this. It makes military bootcamp look like flag football.
Thanks to Beachbody and my coach I am back on the road to fitness and I will have the body of a Greek God when this is all said and done.
