Myrtle Beach, SC My name is Crystal Stewart and I am super excited to be a Beachbody Coach! I hope to help you with your fitness and health goals!
I recently completed my first 90 days of P90X! I plan to incorporate my next 90 days with Insanity. I can't wait to see the results with that! I started P90X to tone up and, honestly, to see if I had to determination and drive to complete the program. In My name is Crystal Stewart and I am super excited to be a Beachbody Coach! I recently completed my first 90 days of P90X! I plan to incorporate my next 90 days with Insanity. I can't wait to see the results with that! I started P90X to tone up and, honestly, to see if I had to determination and drive to complete the program. In addition, having lost a lot of muscle mass from eating disorders five years ago, I sought to gain lean muscle and embrace my body again.
I wasn't always an active, athletic person. I have a great natural metabolism. But thanks to a great friend, I started running three years ago. When I began, I could barely run a quarter of a mile without stopping from knee pain and not being able to catch my breath. A few months after starting, I completed my first 5K. I have competed in a few since, including winning my age group in May of 2010, having shaved 4 minutes off my time (thanks Plyometrics!). I am now running the farthest I have ever ran, seven miles, and plan to participate in my first 10K soon. I am even considering a half-marathon.
I am a sixth grade Social Studies teacher in Myrtle Beach,South Carolina. I am originally from West Virginia. I love football, reading, history, and now working out!
If you are looking for a workout to tone up, to gain lean muscle mass, to lose weight, or to get healthy, I recommend P90X or any of Beachbody's programs!

When I started P90X on March 1, 2010, my goals were to tone up and to improve my running. I did not measure myself (I wish I had now!) and I didn't weigh myself.
After the first few workouts the first week, I was already seeing results. My stomach was leaner and I already felt more toned. Over the course of time, my shoulders became more defined, my thighs felt stronger, and I had tons more energy. It felt great to be eating properly and I looked forward to my workout everyday. Some days I wanted to do two!
My strength was my greatest improvement. My first chest and back workout was pathetic... All my pushups were from my knees, and the next day I was really sore since I didn't pace myself. I maybe did 10 from the toe pushups that workout. Now I am doing close to 150 from the toe pushups (plus a few exercises from the knees still).
Another benefit was an improvement in my running. Before P90X, I would run a 5K (3.1 miles) in about 29 minutes. Now I can run it in around 26 minutes. In May 2010, I won a 5K for my age group. Most recently I have begun running over six miles at a time. I credit my success to the determination and drive, as well as the strength I gained, from P90X.
