Newport, MI It was February 2010 and I was weighing in at 267 lbs, the most I have ever weighed. I was having all sorts of stomach pains, heart burn, and needed to drink energy drinks to get my everyday energy. Little did I know the energy drinks where the cause of all these problems along with not eating well and not exercising regularly. So I went to see a doctor and I got test done. I was having all sorts of stomach pains, heart burn, and needed to drink energy drinks to get my everyday energy. Little did I know the energy drinks where the cause of all these problems along with not eating well and not exercising regularly. So I went to see a doctor and I got test done. The results came back showing nothing was wrong other then I needed to change my ways. My long time friend was telling me about P90X and I seen the commercials, but thought there was no way it worked liked it said. So I decided to give it a shot being the competitor that I am. After week 1 I was hooked!! First 90 days I cut my weight down to 230lbs and I was feeling awesome. I changed my diet to a more consistent and healthy way. But I still wasn't satisfied and knew I could do more. So I did another 90 days and this time I started doing something I always disliked, running. I started a program called Couch to 5K and by week 8 I was able to run 5Ks and running them well. I was feeling energized, in a great mood, and in some of the best shape I have been since High School, probably even better then that time because I was eating a lot better. I no longer needed energy drinks and I was no longer experiencing the stomach problems I was before. A year later, I was down to 208 and feeling like a new man. I have currently done 3 rounds of P90X, still training for 5K races, and I am currently in a P90X/Insanity Hybrid along with taking the amazing formula, Shakeology. Shakeology is going to take my body in a transformation that I never thought was possible. I am currently down to 198 lbs. I know that there is always room for improvement so I look forward to my next workout plans after I complete my Challenges. Next is Insanity Asylum, then another P90X/Insanity Hybrid, and that should have me ready for the new P90X 2 coming out late fall!! I have all kinds of energy, motivation to do so much, and most importantly I am living a healthier life so that I can be there for my wife and kids. I want to be my kids role model and encourage them how important it is to live a healthy life. There are many out there that I have encouraged and motivated from my transformation and I hope to do so with many many more people along my journey.
