I am a US Navy veteran and saw action in southeast Asia, after which I spent 20 years as a professional broadcaster. I am a college grad,with a Masters in Music. I sing tenor in a semi-professional community chorus, and am a long time 49er fan. For the 30 years before retirement, I served churches as a Episcopal priest. I'm in pretty good shape, I try to eat right, and I want to live a long, healthy life. I swim every day in the summer and use our cross-trainer in the winter, seeking muscle toning & endurance. More ...
I'm in pretty good shape, I try to eat right, and I want to live a long, healthy life. I swim every day in the summer and use our cross-trainer in the winter, seeking muscle toning & endurance.
Life is good, so why do something new? Because, after living 67 years with no serious health issues - ever - nearly four years ago, I had a major heart attack. As therapy, we bought a cross-trainer and I have continued swimming, but there is more to life than just preventing another heart attack. Last year, our daughter and son-in-law introduced us to TBB, and we have worked at it, more or less seriously, since then. After realizing how much my endurance has improved and how much more I could do if I worked at it just a little more (30 minutes a day), I really perked up. I feel better, look better, and enjoy any and all activities I want to. TBB is a Godsend for me and can be for everyone else, which is why I am so enthusiastic about it. I am looking forward the summer and swimming to my heart's content. I hope you'll join in my excitement about the potential we all possess!
