Hiya! I am Danae and I live in Canada!!:D I am going into my fourth year as a theatre and music student at a university in BC. I love baking, hanging out with friends, movies(especially 1950's ones!), singing, reading, and dancing! I love the feeling after a really good workout and when I actually eat healthily for the remainder of the day!

I started Power 90 a year out of high school. I am not really a public gym person, though I did take kickboxing and loved it! I also had a couple pilates dvds, which helped keep me in shape that year. I did not realize it at the time, but right before Christmas of my first year of university, my aunt had bought Power 90 for my uncle. My mom and I bought it after Christmas sometime, and started on it. When we saw Turbo Jam a couple years ago, we were excited because it had more of a dance feel, making it a nice break/change from Power 90. My mom and I did that during the summer...even when we cooked at a camp! We had a TV and DVD player and we would exercise in the morning before breakfast. Now, when I do some of the Turbo Jam workouts, it brings me back to that summer...quite lovely! Then I saw Hip Hop Abs last summer(yeah...I'm kinda addicted!), and I bought it for myself because I am interested in taking dance lessons and I thought this would be a good start. I have been doing workouts from all three programs regularly and I just finished a week of Power 90, then I am going to do a week of Turbo Jam, and then a week of Hip Hop Abs. After that I might repeat, but I am not sure yet. The part I get stuck on is eating. I have gotten better at not overeating, but not completely. I love sweets...especially home made baking! I can't eat very many sweets normally, but I still get stuck eating too many too often! As a university student, I eat simply, so I cannot follow a good portion of the meal plans. I love fruits and vegetables, so I try to eat a lot of those, otherwise, I eat simply.
