Transformation story

I am a 54 year old mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. I went through some life changes back in early 1990's and lost quite a bit of weight. Being single again and not feeling very good about my divorce More ...
I am a 54 year old mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. I went through some life changes back in early 1990's and lost quite a bit of weight. Being single again and not feeling very good about my divorce I found Fitness as very good therapy. I joined my local YMCA and worked out 3 nights a week, and walked about 3 to 5 mi. a day. I was feeling great and when asked by one of the guys at the gym if I was interested in signing for the bench press competition I did. He actually trained me and I won first place in my weight category, Women's 129 lb. class, this was in 1996 At this time I worked out and stayed in great shape. I also taught country line dance classes at the Y , our local club that was run by 92.5 WXTU Radio station in Phila, Pa. and our local school rec. program. It was very good aerobic exercise. Time went on and I finally got into a new relationship and have been in it for 8 years now. I have gotten very relaxed and have gained 20 lbs. I worked out off and on and put everything else first before myself. I guess that is what mothers and grandmothers do. I am now committing to myself that I am going to get back on track and get back into the best shape of my life even at 54 I know that I can do it. I have decided to become a coach to help out others also. We can do it together! Contact me and we can be pushing play and signing into WOWY together.
