I am 37 years old and I was always "aware" of the importance of health and fitness. Before I had my first child I had been skinny no matter how many apple pies in one I ate. During my pregnancy I ate 8 - 12 oreo cookies every day for lunch. I went from 115 (at 5' 5") to 180. After Tyler (now 15) was born it took over a year to settle at 130. When I became pregnant I took very seriously what I ate and ate strictly vegetarian and exercised every day. My daughter Victoria was born and my weight dropped off rapidly. Then divorce and stress got the best of me and one day decided to go on the Body for Life program. It was an 84 day challange. I LOVED it and the result were remarkable! Then...a few years into a new marriage, and a new house and new, new, new everything. My now 12 year old daughter took a picture of me from the back and I was horrified at what I looked like! I questioned my husband why he never told me I looked like that?! I tried to go back on the Body For Life but it did not have the same effects as it did the first time. I lost no weight and looked no different. Then, ALAS, P90X was found. I was skeptical at first until I saw the words "90 day challenge"...for some reason that word "challenge" has always been a motivating factor for me. So lets see how it works.
