Hi. My name is DD, and i'm an active business owner, working 12 hours a day 6 days a week and i love life.I have 2 wonderful children, ages 23 and 19. My daughter has been my saving grace keeping me active and motivated. I'm active within my community serving on multiple boards and groups, and active also within my church, holding offices and responsibilities there as well. Life somehow seems to have gotten in the way of my progress making my workouts going from inconveinent to non existant for too long. My husband had a heart attack at 41 yrs old and our lives have spiraled downward since then. I'm releaning how to cope and live and i LOVE being a part of teambeachbody. Back in 05 i fell in love with the way beachbody conducted their program and have been a member ever since.

Hi there. This is a complete new story. I've erased the last 4 yrs documenting and am beginning anew chapter. I've been with beachbody for 4 yrs now and have been a coach for the last 1 1/2 yrs. I'm your classic success story who enjoyed the results and then i guess became to comfortable in where i was, and somehow right before my very eyes, plummeted back to where i started. NO, that's not true. I fell to a place i had never been before. Never before in my life have i ever been over 200 lbs and i swore that i never would. But one day i realized i had reached a weight of 221 lb and was clearly not happy. I pushed my own health and happiness to a back burner to make room for work, and surviving while times were hard. Due to my husbands heart attack at a very young age I was foreced to be the bread winner. We had a home mortgage and a mortgage on my business, and taxes and bills continued to rise. I shut mysefl off from teh world and just simply worked. One day i woke up and realized how unhappy i was. With marital issues as well as health issues i was fighting many demons.

I have become in control of my life now. With the aid of my daughter we have placed ourselves on the FRONT burner where we all deserve to be. If we want something we have to make it happen. I remember the times of the past when i first joined bb, and i lost 20 lbs nad 16 1/2 inches. i had visible abs!!!! I dream of the day when i can reach my goal. To date, I make 45 min a day available to ME just for ME to do a workout, even if it means i have to stay up til 11 pm. I'm currently down 15 lbs and 5 inches. Ive suffered from insomnia for 15 yrs now. Things in our life HAVE to change. Please join me in our unison dreams of health and fitness and becoming thinner. Finding what works for YOU is the important part. i THINK i've found my way.
