38 Married, 6 kids, 2 dogs, Just returned from Afghanistan and chillaxin' like a champ in the Bluegrass of Kentucky. Family histroy of being overweight, and in the past 3-5 years I have gained about 30 pounds. I changed jobs thru promotions and higher responsibility but the computer field is just more and more sitting behind a desk so belly bulge booyah!

I left Wisconsin at 209 on Jan 5th 2013 and am looking to get back to around 175-180. I really want to look good with my shirt off and make my wife drool! I want to be happy and confidant in my body again. Nutrition and cutting 35 pounds while in Afghanistan is prooving a challenge, but wit hthe help of Team Endurafit and my Coach, I am making progress.

Mar 28th 2013: late Jan I really started t ofocus on diet and learning what to eat and what NOT to eat, i focused on only that for about a week or 2 before starting a cardio only workout for 1 week at the base gym (stationary bike). I then added weight training in for a week or 2 then started to throw in some P90x workouts once in awhile to get used to the dvd's in preperation for Team Endurafits Challenge Group starting in Mid-March. I started using MyFitnessPal.com feb 3rd and that has been a major help. Today (28March 2013), I weigh in at 194 lbs, that is 15 pounds lost! I weigh myself once a week and also use tape/calipers as the scale can lie and only tells you half the story. I highly suggest Power Bands to assist in prepping your BACK muscles for Pull-Ups, and even using them intermittantly throughout the day or before bed and such. Pull-ups are critical, and the bands halp prep you for that. I use Shakeology, Syntha-6, Opti-Men Multivitamins, Clif Builder Bars, and take generic Fiber pills. My diet has bee nreally high in TUNA, due to limited options over here in Afghanistan, its a great filler! I totally cut out all breads (carbs), and dairy too while using the 50/30/20 Fat Shredder Diet plan.
