The majority of my youth, I was always pretty heavy and had very little athletic/fitness ability. When I was eight, I began to put on weight and it didn't seem to want to stop. Over the next few years of grade school I began to get bigger and the ridicule grew along with it. When I started Jr. High School I was playing football and baseball but it wasn't helping with the weight any. My low fitness level pushed me to stop playing sports and things seemed to go downhill from there.
By the time I was a sophomore in high school I was about 5'3" and weight close to 165-170 lbs...and it wasn't muscle taht's for sure! Over the next couple years of high school I was still getting bigger and by the time I began my Sr year I was about 5'10" and weighed closed to 230 lbs.
About half-way through the year, I started working out with a co-worker of mine and I lost alot of the weight. I was feeling better, looking better, getting attention that I had never had before...and I liked it...I wanted more...but my discipline and my motivation wasn't there yet...by the end of the school year I was 6'0" and weight under 200 lbs but I was still chubby and my fitness level was still very low...
When I was 19 I joined the USAF. Before starting basic training I was about 185 lbs and graduated a skeleton like 163 lbs. I couldn't believe the pictures.
Over the next few months after basic I quickly jumped back up to 195 lbs, but it wasn't from working out at the gym...my newly found freedom lead me to go back to some bad eating habits as well as smoking again...
Over the next several years, I just couldn't seem to stay with a good workout program for more than a few weeks...and then I went to Korea...where things just became worse...By the time my 365 days in Korea were over, I was back up to 215 and things weren't looking to good for me...
I started working out again in order to get stronger and add more lean muscle to my body...but I wasn't eating well and my metabolism was still pretty slow. I put on a few pounds of muscle, but it looked pretty sloppy...
Over the next couple years I struggled to loose that chub and get my cardio vascular level up...but again...things fell to the side...
Then I went to Iraq for a year...a pretty stressfull year...but the perfect time to hit the gym...I packed on a lot more muscle...but it's still under layers of chub that I just can't seem to get rid of...my diet out there wasn't the best...but you really couldn't go to the local market and pick out the best veggies and lean meats to full the machine...
Now that I'm back...I'm recharged...I've stopped smoking...stopped eating sweets...I haven't drank soda in a year...and I'm ready to "Bring It" with beachbodies P90X workout series...

I feel like a million bucks! A machine I tell you. The P90-X workout has been a godsend to me. I've always been interested in fitness and getting into better shape, but this program takes the checkered flag. I'm more motivated now to workout than I ever have been.
I use to want to benchpress a Buick...blah!! I was slow, stiff, and just looked all bulky. I wanted something more functional. Something that could help me maintain my muscle mass while becoming more flexible and leaner with more cardio vasuclar endurance...Well...I found it! These DVDs are going with me everywhere...
Tony / Carl...You guys Rock!
