Cedar Park, TX March 2010 Hi, I'm Christine and I'm working hard to make a change in my life, lose weight and get fit! This is a life change and am taking this day by day. I started this journey about a year and a half ago and even joined WOWY back then, but I just didn't completely commit. I did focus on my diet and managed to lose 20lbs in in about a year. However, I did not consistently March 2010 Hi, I'm Christine and I'm working hard to make a change in my life, lose weight and get fit! This is a life change and am taking this day by day. I started this journey about a year and a half ago and even joined WOWY back then, but I just didn't completely commit. I did focus on my diet and managed to lose 20lbs in in about a year. However, I did not consistently incorporate exercise even though I had the tools. I have several Beachbody products(Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, and Chalean Extreme) that I'm embarrassed to say, were collecting dust. I have acknowledged that this is a journey and although I got a little lost, I am back on the correct path. I've been working out with Chalean Extreme for the last 3 weeks (Feb 2010), in addition to Hip Hop Abs. I forgot how much fun Hip Hop Abs is! I like the variety and have begun adding Turbo Jam again to my workouts. I am about to add P90x to my program and hope that I can handle it! I know it will be hard, but I'm going to give it a try. I decided to make the commitment complete and have decided to become a coach. So if you are visiting my page or just joined as well, then let's make the commitment and take this journey together!! March 14, 2010 I have gotten through my first 4 weeks of ChaLean Extreme, finished Burn Phase and have lost 9 lbs, so I'm really happy about that! I've just received my P90X, so really excited More ...
March 14, 2010 I have gotten through my first 4 weeks of ChaLean Extreme, finished Burn Phase and have lost 9 lbs, so I'm really happy about that! I've just received my P90X, so really excited and a little nervous. However, I'm going to continue with CE and start Push Phase. I don't think I'm completely ready for P90X yet, plus I still need to read through all the materials. I've also been doing Hip Hops Abs and Turbo Jam and just for kicks I have added a weighted hula hoop to do a little cardio during commercials while catching up on tv. I can already see some transformation in the 4 weeks of Burn Phase. I've gone down a size in jeans, at least in Old Navy jeans...and even my new size is starting to feel loose in the thighs. I can see new definition in my arms! I also am getting the beginning of '1-pack' abs! LOL! The thing that has been hard is all the lunging and squats. While I know they are critical to the workout, I have have issues with arthritis due to patellar subluxation (unstable kneecaps) that I have had since high school. This affects all lower body exercises (lunges, squats, etc), but I do the best I can and modify as needed.

06/08/10 Wow, too long since my posting! I've been a little sidetracked with my postings, so I'm going to work on keeping up. I'm on week 5 of my P90x journey and doing good, however, I have let More ... 05/24/10 I have just completed my first 3 weeks of P90x Classic and am feeling good. I will admit I have missed a couple of workouts...mainly the Saturday Kenpo X, it's just hard to want to get a More ... 05/10/10 PS...I changed my name to FitNotFatGirl...because that's where I'm headed!! :) View Blog
