SPECIAL NOTE: If you are new to Team Beachbody and I’ve been assigned as your coach or you are just stopping by and need that extra bit of motivation, email me at furorfitness@gmail.com so we can get you started and on the road to success, but more importantly a NEW YOU!
Coaching has been very rewarding for me and I can’t tell you how amazing it feels to help people reach their fitness goals.
If you need a little direction or a success partner, send me an email, it’s my passion to help people, and I’d be honored to work with you.
I’m a 37 year old “Average Joe” who is married to a great wife. My wife and I have a daughter (born 5/2009) and a son (born 8/2011). I have a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services to go along with my background in law enforcement and the martial arts. I’m also a veteran of the United States Military.
I grew up actively playing lacrosse and competitive hockey. The training felt intense at the time but nothing has compared to what Team Beachbody has offered, not even my military training. I’m healthier and more energetic than ever. It feels great knowing I’ve prolonged my life not only for me but for my wife and children. I'm "setting the example" that I hope my children will follow.
I was never interested in the “quick” fix. I’ve made small “lifestyle” changes that have stuck. When you have a family and a full time job it’s difficult to turn your life upside down and keep up the pace of a new lifestyle, especially one where you are trying to get (and stay) fit and healthy. What I’ve done has worked for me and the recipe is simple. The journey isn’t always easy but with a little hard work, simple planning, consistency, and some motivation (this is where I come in) you can go a long way.
Here’s how to get started:
1. Become my client. It’s free! If you are reading this, just click “Join Team Beachbody”. If you do you not see "Join Team Beachbody" and are interested in joining my team of clients send me an e-mail expressing your desire to do so and we'll get started.
2. Pick the fitness product that’s right for your goals and lifestyle. If you need help, let me know as I've completed several programs.
3. Work on your diet. Basically, eat sensibly and healthy. I can help get you dialed in for max results.
4. Choose the best supplements to help achieve your goals and overall health.
5. Be accountable.

NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE ADVANTAGE, ARE YOU READY! Don't Bring It Weak!
Keep pushing play and digging deeper.

You wake up one morning and look at yourself in the mirror and say, “How the heck did I get to where I am right now?” I told myself it was just how life happened, and it’s “just happened” to many of us. I remember going through high school, trying to get my weight over 200 lbs. for hockey, lacrosse, and football. I just couldn’t do it, to be honest, I didn’t know how to do it back then. My workouts were sporadic at best and my nutrition was horrible.
Enter the military. My life did a complete 180 degree turn. My weight jumped over 200 lbs. within a year and I was considered “fat” by military standards. I would “battle the bulge” for the next 6 years of my life, yo-yoing back and forth like a see-saw (in and out of shape if that’s what you call it).
It really didn’t stop (the bulge that is) when I left the military to pursue my education. I have a bachelor’s in Psychology and a master’s in Counseling and Human Services (I really enjoy helping people). I systematically gained about 70 lbs. over the next 10 years of my life. I say systematically because I systematically ate fast food and drank soda on a constant basis. I knew it was bad for me but it was convenient.
To be honest, I did work out on and off but my weight cycled up and down climbing higher and higher each time (worse than a fad diet) as I would start then stop, rinse and repeat.
After seeing the P90X infomercial (to many times to count) I became sick and tired of literally being sick and tired. I buckled and bought the program from an “As Seen on TV” store and gave it the P90X program a run. My first attempt started in March of 2009. I was doing well but then my wife has our daughter in May of 2009. With life getting “a little” hectic I cycled on and off the program for the next 16 months before I finally buckled down on July 19, 2010. I finally made the commitment and stuck to the program! It feels great. I finished that first round down about 18 pounds (everyone’s weight fluctuates from day to day that’s why I say about) and two loops on my belt. Did I say it felt good? From an accountability standpoint I have to add that I really only followed the P90X program about 75% true. I could have done even better but my family is important to me and we travel to finish our parent’s every month or so. My wife is understanding and supportive but I need to bend a bit also (as much as I would love to not miss workouts).
I've added another notch to my belt (Insanity...down) and it literally burned off ALOT of that excess body fat I wanted to shed (check out the photo's).
I’ll be doing a hybrid program that I’ll design or obtain from friends incorporating P90X/Insanity/One on One videos. My new goal is "Six Pack by Summer".
I'm not interested in being a rabbit in this race for a healthier life. I'm happy with small incremental changes that will last a lifetime. The quick and easy fix most likely won't last. Be in the race for life and you won't be disappointed as with our joint effort we can succeed together in anything.
I’LL BE HONEST…IT’S NOT EASY!!! IT IS DOABLE THOUGH AND YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS.
