Sobieski, WI Six years ago, at 36 years old, I discovered Beachbody and can't thank this company enough for helping me find a way to a healthier lifestyle. Beachbody not only helped transform me into a healthier person, but helped me see how much I could really enjoy exercising, eating well, and taking better care of myself.
Prior to my introduction to Beachbody, I put 100% of my focus on my children Six years ago, at 36 years old, I discovered Beachbody and can't thank this company enough for helping me find a way to a healthier lifestyle. Beachbody not only helped transform me into a healthier person, but helped me see how much I could really enjoy exercising, eating well, and taking better care of myself.
Prior to my introduction to Beachbody, I put 100% of my focus on my children (born in 1998 and 2000), family, and work - ahead of myself. Somewhere along the way, I let everything else come before "me" and I didn't even know who I was anymore. I added a few pounds each year, and eventually, by 2003, I couldn't stand the way I looked. Both my physical appearance and my self esteem were sliding. I felt like I neglected myself, and the way I felt about my appearance affected just about every area of my life. I would look at myself in the mirror and say, "Who IS that?" I knew something had to change and I wanted to feel good about myself again.
In December of 2004, I saw the Slim in 6 infomercial and decided I needed to order the program. Two months later, in February of '05, I finally mustered up the notion to get started working out with Slim in 6 and eating better. I stopped finishing the last few bites because it tasted good even though I was full. I really started looking forward to the feeling I got after working out (sometimes even twice a day). I not only began to see the amazing results of losing weight and toning up, but I felt so much better - physically and mentally.
My drive to get in shape helped boost my confidence and made me feel good inside and out. I felt like I was finally taking care of myself for the first time in ages. I realized that I had always been so concerned about everyone else and everything else that I hadn’t really made sure I took the best care of myself. It was a turning point in my life. In October of 2005, I started Power 90, and lost a total of 19 pounds between Feb. '05 and March '06. My daughters (then ages 5 and 7)would watch me work out and say, "Beachbody is really good, isn't it Mom?" and "Tony is really funny!" and "Everybody should do Beachbody." It was cute and made me proud to show them that exercising is important for health, but it's also fun! Thank you for helping me get healthy and find the drive within myself to take care of ME too!

In February 2005, I started Slim in 6 and completed it twice consecutively. I began running a few times a week during the summer of '05 and then started Power 90 in October 2005. I finished up Power More ...
In February 2005, I started Slim in 6 and completed it twice consecutively. I began running a few times a week during the summer of '05 and then started Power 90 in October 2005. I finished up Power 90 in January 2006 and then I resumed running while I continued doing Power 90 phase 3/4 workouts 3-4 times a week during the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2006. I had a few injuries along the way, and had to take a few agonizing breaks. I started Power 90 again on Dec. 30th, 2006 and worked moderately hard at it into March. I've been struggling staying consistent, but I'm hoping to finish up a full round of Power90 and then do P90X to really get ripped!
