Hi. I'm 53 years old. I live in Seward, Ne. and have been married for almost 30 years. I am a father of three and a grandfather of four. Being asthmatic all my life, I have not let that deter me from what I want to do. I have lifted weights for over 25 years and enjoy lifting as exercise for my mental outlook as much as my physical. Becoming older, I decided to incorporate a cardovascular workout

Hi. I'm 53 years old. I live in Seward, Ne. and have been married for almost 30 years. I am a father of three and a grandfather of four. Being asthmatic all my life, I have not let that deter me from what I want to do. I have lifted weights for over 25 years and enjoy lifting as exercise for my mental outlook as much as my physical. Becoming older, I decided to incorporate a cardovascular workout into my exercise routine. One Thanksgiving, my niece asked me if I would like to run a mini-marathon with her. I thought it was a great way for me to start running. Christmas time came around and she asked if I had started training. I told her "Training? I could walk the 2-3 miles.". It was at that time she told me it would be 13 miles....half of the Lincoln Marathon in May. And now, this coming May, I hope to be competing in my 7th consecitive half marathon.
