My goal, simply stated, is to be swifter, stronger and fitter. Not concerned about my weight, I want definition. I want to run in the street with no shirt, and look good doing it.
I started P90X with no illusion that I would be transformed in 90 days, especially at my age. I'm so thrilled to have these instruction videos because they provide a variety of workouts that I can do indefinetely, for months and months. I intend to continue to use these videos to guild my workouts indefinately. I realize that once I get into the best possible shape, it will take work to stay there.
I have 10 kids from ages 4 to 27 and I want to live long enough to see the last grandchild born, which will be at least 35 years. I believe keeping in shape, working out, eating right, will all help contribute to that goal.
So that is why I'm here. Overall strentgh and better health. Best possible fitness, which includes weight loss, muscile mass, etc. And live longer as an athlete the rest of my days. Roger That!

I received the P90X program in Mid December. I set up my gym to include the chin-up bar, purchased the yoga blocks, heart rate monitor, supplements etc in order to prepare for a Jan 4 start of the first block. Over the past three months I have workedout with the P90X DVD's regularly. I like to workout at 5:00a before the day starts. I have a noticable loss in inches around my waste and belly, and noticable gain in size in my arms, chest and back.
Even though I've been working at it for almost 3 months, I'm just finishing the 2nd block of exerciese. I have been delayed by illness and work pressure since the first of the year. I expect to work right through the 3rd block in April, and then start P90X doubles in May.
P90X is the Bomb! It clearly isn't for everybody, and at 54 years old it pushes me to the matt every workout. But I wouildn't have it any other way.
