I'm a 60-year-old single guy who lives in Daytona Beach, Florida, the sunshiny state. I had a great tan, but I wanted to get healthy,so I started my own program back on May 1, 2011 which I culled from several internet courses.

I decided in April 2011 that I was fed up with being a slug; I looked like four toothpicks holding up an apple! Having done no exercise for the last 30 years, my body was really showing the effects of way too much bad food and a sedentary lifestyle. The effects of being the victim of a hit-and-run accident some years prior had forced me to use a cane for support when walking.

So I made a plan, and since I live in Daytona, my first goal was to walk on the beach. That first walk barely lasted a half mile before I could go no farther. I limped home and applied some Thai Boxing Liniment to my aching muscles, but I was not to be deterred.

The next day I retraced my previous course, but still only accomplished the half mile. Still determined, I kept at it each day until I was doing over 3 miles - WITHOUT MY CANE! After that, beginning a workout ritual and exercising was tough, having little body strength, but I again persevered.

Now, 5 months later, I am enjoying the energy that a heightened degree of fitness brings. It is extremely important to follow a schedule, eat the right foods, and take the recommended supplements. I now roll out of bed before sunrise and can't wait to get to the gym.

Thirty days of dedicated programs using Power 90 as my focus has really enhanced my form and energy level, and I still have much work to do. Fitness and a healthy lifestyle are not just a goal, but a journey. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine!!!
