Transformation story

I was raised an all around athlete. I played baseball, football, basketball, and would skateboard nearly everyday until I hurt my shoulder pitching in baseball near the end of my high school career. More ...
I was raised an all around athlete. I played baseball, football, basketball, and would skateboard nearly everyday until I hurt my shoulder pitching in baseball near the end of my high school career. This brought my physical activity to a screeching halt. I figured I was young and I could always eat whatever I wanted. What I didn't realize is that I was taking my youth for granted. I would eat pizza, shakes, cookies, and drink at least 4-6 sodas a day. The only way water would find a way through my system is if I were taking a break in sports and I didn't have any gatorade. After high school I started working full time, often exceeding the "40 hour" work week. Exercising was the last thing on my mind right behind sleep. I was humiliated one day when I stepped on the scale only to find out that my 175 pound physique was now a soft 220 pounds and I needed to hit the field or gym, something to get me motivated. July 1st 2007 is when I decided to turn my life around. I had just passed my players ability exam to become a golf teaching professional and I realized if I could be stronger and increase my flexibility I would be a better player as well as teacher. Not to mention my girlfriend of six years would appreciate the new body. I started off basic: replacing soda with water, fast food with a protien shake, and doing light weight circuit training with a focus on stomach exercises as well as cardio Monday through Friday. I switch it up every 4-6 weeks increasing my intensity at each work out ranging from sprint intervals to mass building skull crushing lifting (trying to build muscle now). My goal is to bench press 305 lbs and achieve the "Spartan" six pack. I love having the Million Dollar Body community, game, and coach by my side. Thanks to all for the support!
