Former triathlete/marathoner. Had to stop running 2 years ago (Nov. 2005) due to back problems when running. Since stopping running have gained 25-30 pounds. Started P90X on Nov.3, 2007.

Started P90X on Nov. 3,2007 weighing 202 and 19% BF. Made a big change to my diet and am trying to stick to the diet plan as close as possible. I've cut out all junk food, pasta, bread, and pizza.  More ...
Started P90X on Nov. 3,2007 weighing 202 and 19% BF. Made a big change to my diet and am trying to stick to the diet plan as close as possible. I've cut out all junk food, pasta, bread, and pizza. I'm motivated to eat healthy but have a hard time getting 50% protein in this first month. I had a weight gain during the first 2 weeks which I found hard to believe since I cut out all the junk. During my third week I'm starting to see a weight loss. On top of the P90X workouts I've been using my bike trainer 3-4 times a week for about 45 minutes. Workouts are getting better. I can see a big improvement in my flexibility. I went from pathetic to pretty bad. Actually can touch my toes after I am very warmed up. Considering doing an extra week of workouts before doing the rest week. Just passed day 90 and have lost over 15 pounds. Had to buy some "fat pants" prior to starting P90X. Now I can't even wear them without a belt and can get back into all my old pants. Lost a lot of inches around the middle and am starting to see some ab definition.
