My name is Maria Cappa and I am part of a family full of obesity. I have watched loved ones lose their battles with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease..and I have spent my life struggling not to be a victim of my environment. I have always exercised and dieted, and I would usually maintain my weight through bouts of starvation followed by periods of binging that would cause me to blow up like a balloon. My largest non-pregnancy related weight loss was 40 pounds.

When my mother (who was morbidly obese for most of my life) passed away at age 62, I knew I wanted to be really super fit, and take the best care of myself that I can. It was then that I came upon Beachbody and found what really works for me. They are the most effective programs available. I use the products, I believe in them, and I would like to let others know that I can truly appreciate the challenges of being and staying fit. But it is possible if you really make the commitment and have the support of others who are in the same situation as you.
