Im 46, single and work the midnight shift at our local Regional Hospital here in VA.Im a Certified Central Sterile Technician and I get a good work out everynight! I weighed in @ 258 on my 5'6" frame as of 3/06. I chose a modified carb eating plan and walked as much as possible and took the stairs all the time. I reached a stall point at 150 and I knew I More ...
I weighed in @ 258 on my 5'6" frame as of 3/06. I chose a modified carb eating plan and walked as much as possible and took the stairs all the time. I reached a stall point at 150 and I knew I needed to do more to not only lose the rest of my weight, but even more important to tone and build my muscle. Enter MDB & TurboJam! I chose this program because of the power of motivation it had behind, it looked fun along with the music! (I love music!) In 3 weeks I have lost 10 more lbs. and so far 7" overall. I didnt think the flappy arms and legs would firm @ my age, but Chalene and the guys in TurboJam have proved me wrong! (thankfully!) I have had 4 back surgeries, 2 surgeries for a crushed heel and 3 for a messed up knee (all from 1 accident), so the inability to be able to move like I was use to was very frustrating and the weight I gained from this lack of movement very depressing. I have had many challenges throughout life such as uterine cancer,my accident and have overcome for the most part off of them. Obesity is a lifetime challenge that Im just as determined to overcome.With beachbody, MDB, my wowy buddies, & TurboJam the road to "me" is just around the bend!
