Centennial, CO I was a Police Officer for 14 years. During those years it was easier to maintain my weight. My height is 6'0". In the summertime my weight would be 175lbs, due to the hot weather and increased activity. In winter I would go up to 185lbs, due to sitting in a patrol car more often. Working swing shifts and graveyards was not conducive to a balanced diet and a well rested body. The one thing I was a Police Officer for 14 years. During those years it was easier to maintain my weight. My height is 6'0". In the summertime my weight would be 175lbs, due to the hot weather and increased activity. In winter I would go up to 185lbs, due to sitting in a patrol car more often. Working swing shifts and graveyards was not conducive to a balanced diet and a well rested body. The one thing that I was never happy with was my stomach or abdominal area. I remember that when I was in the academy and did thousands of crunches and sit- ups, I never achieved a tight, toned abdominal area. I left law enforcement and opened a business. When I left, I weighed 178lbs. In the two years that I have been gone, and spend the majority of my time sitting behind a desk, working long hours, and exercising on a infrequent basis, my weight shot up to 194lbs. In December of 2008, my weight was at a 190lbs. I felt terrible and depressed, and had no energy, and I was not happy with myself. My coach who also happens to be my little brother, looked me in the eye, and said you need to start P90X. My wife an I started the program on January 12, 2009, and we love it. I weighed 190lbs when I started, and in 6 weeks I am down to 178lbs. I have become stronger, and I feel better, and the best part of it is that my stomach is disappearing, and my core strength is increasing. I am no longer suffering from middle and lower back pain, and I was in constant pain from wearing a gun belt, and I had severe shoulder pain from a work related injury, and that pain is decreasing as I continue to follow the P90X program. Over the years I have learned that everyone's body is different, and I am not sure that I will get ripped in 90 days, but that doesn't matter to me, for this phenomenal program that I will incorporate into my daily activity, and those fabulous results will come over time.

My goal is to maintain my weight between 170lbs-175lbs, and have a solid abdominal area. In the past my cholesterol and triglycerides were high. By following the diet guide in P90X, and doing the workouts, I have strengthened my body, lowered my weight, and reduced my cholesterol and triglycerides. For me this has been an outstanding accomplishment due to the heart disease in both sides of my family. In 6 weeks I have lost 12-lbs of fat from my midsection. My future plans are to maintain my weight and strength, and I will continue this program for many years to come.
