I am an artist, I paint nothing but thoroughbred racing. It's not a very active occupation other than traveling all over the country which leaves little time to exercise much less maintain a regular workout program. I am an artist, I paint nothing but thoroughbred racing. It's not a very active occupation other than traveling all over the country which leaves little time to exercise much less maintain a regular workout program. When I do return home to Florida I'm not inclined to "get busy". I am single with two teenage daughters that are both athletes (gymnastics and diving). Watching them condition is embarrassing knowing that there was a time when I could do that, but now - my "little girls" can kick my butt. I "was" a former athlete with all state honors in football, baseball, and wrestling in high school and even played some college ball. After that - sports consisted of lots of softball, tennis, and occasional volleyball. As a younger man - playing games was enough to stay in pretty good shape - fast forward to a period were I play a lot less games. . . at lot slower speed . . .until my waistline decided it didn't like my old wardrobe any more. After being able to wear the same pants I wore in high school for 20+ years - I had put 4 inches on my waist seemingly overnight (even if it was really a few years). So, here I am sitting painting all day - watching my girls do flips through the air with the greatest of ease - where as for me - ease is the way I enter into my lazyboy.
