Frankfort, OH So I had my bio done, but honestly, after being here for a while, I've realized that my "why" is much deeper than "I'm here to lose weight and tone up." So an edit is in order.

I started this journey with P90X and I was 348 pounds. My largest was 356 pounds less than a year ago. In December of 2011 I was feeling poorly, tired, irritable, just exhausted. I am a Type II diabetic and my morning blood sugars had hit the roof averaging in the high 400s! We moved up my doctors appointment. I was given an ultimatum by my physician that we would try yet another combo of drugs, but if I did not modify my lifestyle drastically, I would have to go on insulin. He even gave me a referral for bariatric surgery - I went to the info session to start that process. It was a wakeup call. Something had to change. My dad, Joe, suffered a fatal heart attack in 2004 at the age of 60. When I looked in the mirror, I saw him. My daily activies were the same as him - go to work, come home, sit in a chair, eat, go to bed, repeat. The way I was living, I wouldn't make it to 60.
I had seen the P90X infomercials for a couple of years. Was amazed at the results people were claiming. So I decided to order it and try just "one more time" to change my life. I started the P90X journey on January 23, 2012. I can't wait to push play every day! I can't wait to log onto Team Beachbody to see what my friends are doing. I can't wait to log on to WOWY gym and start my workout.
I feel so much better and as a result of what Beachbody has done for me, I am now an Independent Team Beachbody Coach and trying to pay it forward and help anybody else that might be even close to my situation. You can do it - I've made a lifestyle change and commitment to never go back to the way I was. Let me help and walk along with you on that same journey.

So an update since it's been nearly a year! I can't believe it. I've stuck with this lifestyle change for a year! But that's what it takes. I had very nice results from my first round of P90X back in the winter/spring of 2011, I did a couple of half rounds of Insanity. The second had to be stopped due to a fall and severely injured ribs. I became a Coach! I've been able to pay it forward and help a good number of people change their lives as well. My blood sugars are now under control. As of 1/11/13, I have lost 50 pounds. And on 1/7/13 I started the newest program, Les Mills Combat which I absolutely LOVE! I met a grat number of other coaches over the year that have made incredible transformations themselves. Most notable Tommy Mygrant, Richard Neal and finally a face to face meet up with my own personally sponsoring coach, Carol Ann Kelly. I've coached my mother who has seen an incredible 100 pound weight loss with Shakeology alone in 10 months! 2013 is set to be spectacular!
I started this journey, this lifestyle change 1/23/12. I am at the 30 day mark now. I can't believe I've stuck with it for 30 days! I have seen a little bit of improvement in my appearance, but a lot of improvement in my health. My morning blood glucose levels have gone from the mid to high 300's down to 140. I'm able to work out for an entire DVD. I feel very good, well rested each morning and more positive in my attitude. I joined up as a coach on 2/18/12 so I can spread the news and maybe help others that are struggling as much as I was. Still a long way to go, but getting there day by day.
