I had taken a lot of time off after football season and spent a lot of time eating chicken wings, hamburgers french fries etc. My waist started getting soft and I started noticing that my speed and training endurance was not what it used to be.

I am currently being recruited to play at the college level and need to start training seriously again to prepare for the year ahead. I do a 3 part training each day and have started to eat much better.

I start my workout with 20-30 minutes of cardio. Then I start a weight training regimine that takes about 30-60min. Then I either go to the field and throw the football for an hour. I recently started the P90X program and I am a believer. It is one of the best workout programs ever created. I am seeing huge results in a very short time. I can't wait until i reach the 90th day!

I have firmed up faster than I thought. My mom always tells me that athletes can get into great shape in as little as 2 weeks as long as you don't get too far out of shape and training is productive.
