Southlake, TX In 60 days, I lost 25lbs and 22”! I went from a 38 waist to a 34!
So, what’s your excuse?! • “I’m too busy” • “Gym’s are expensive” • “I need weights to workout” • “I’m old” • “It’s hard to work out now that I have kids”
I had all the same excuses!

I had all the same excuses!
I used to be a workout-aholic before I got married and had 2 kids.
I had a free gym membership to the best gym in Rochester. I had a great trainer. The gym was 5 minutes drive from my job. I had always worked out with weights, so I “knew” it was the only way to “really” work out, right?! Wrong!
Finally, I was a fat 215lbs, wearing a 38 waist pant, and was embarrassed to have my shirt off.
So, what did I do? I signed up for Nutrisystem! Can you imagine the "excitement" I felt when those 2 big boxes of "food" showed up at my door? I spent the next few months "eating" the "food" using their system. At the end of the program, I lost 14 lbs! Then I did what many people do...I went back to eating real food and put back on the 14 lbs and then some!
My wife, Christine, talked me into trying Insanity. I figured I’d try it, but still felt that the only way to get results was to go to the gym and push weights (Insert Tim Allen’s “Home Improvement” man grunt here).
I went into the 1st DVD thinking it would be a piece of cake. Well, the 1st workout kicked my a*s! I was totaled! Unbelievably though, I liked it. I was 100% exhausted, 100% soaked from all the sweat! I had played “Semi-Pro” football and trained & ran a marathon, and NEVER got this kind of workout!
Being the competitive person I am, I was now on a mission to not only beat this workout; I was going to annihilate it! I was going to make Shaun T want me in his next video! (LAUGHING!) Well, it’s been 6 months and I have gotten much, much better at the workouts, but am nowhere near “annihilating” it. And No…Shaun T hasn’t called…yet! ;-) That’s what’s great about it! Workouts are meant to challenge you and make you work! If working out was easy, then of course you aren’t going to see any results! DUH!!
I will tell you though, even though I have been doing the Insanity program for a just about 2 years now, I still look forward to each workout. I am always challenged and always get a great workout!
Today, my weight stays around 168 lbs and my waist is under a 32 (Not quite a 31 yet)! On a good day, I have abs! I've NEVER had abs!
Lots of things to keep me on track too! Beachbody Coach Summit in June, my 25th High School Class Reunion in July (GULP!), and just overall summertime! Gotta make sure I keep it up so I look and feel good for these events!
So, what's your excuse?

I have always been a gym rat, and have always been very strong. But I continue to have to work on keeping lean. I struggle with eating enough times in the day. Which leaves me in starvation mode. What I have found to be a great help is using the Beachbody shakes and protein bars as a quick meal. I work an hour away, and find that the challenge of working all day as the CIO and Vice President of a major non-profit facility has me on the go all day long. This makes it harder for me to stay ontrack with eating on a schedule. I have been a gym rat and have dabbled with P90x. Fantastic program, but when Insanity came out, I wanted to give that a shot. I was AMAZED! I followed this workout every day for 2 months. It shed 24 lbs off of me. I have a new fire inside of me! The best part about this program is that i just needed a 6ftX6ft space and I was ready to go! Since becoming an Independent Beachbody Coach, I find I'm more commited with sticking to my goals and for sharing what works for me with others. My wife who has had 2 c-sections, is a success tory using Turbo Jam and ChaLEAN Extreme. So we continue to motivate each other.
If you are someone who continues to need accountability in your fitness goals as well as enjoy helping others get fit and healthy, you need to consider becoming a coach with Beachbody. I work harder at my goals when I have a company that supports me with all my efforts. I enjoy talking with others about my successes with the programs and nutritionals, because they work. This is one of the rarest companies that really put out a product that can change your life. Contact me if you want to join mine and my wife's team.
