Hi, I started this journey after seeing a friend from years back on the Power 90 website as a success story- Jobaby on the boards. I know that I can do this from seeing her pictures and reading her story, it is so much like mine!

I am working at a full time job as an Examiner for the Unemployment Office in Appeals. My job can be stressful as I answer phones and listen to people who have very little happiness during these tough economic times. I also work a part time job and a movie theater.

In the last 2 years I have become more concerned about my health and trying to take care of my body. I have always been a heavy person from teenage years forward. I have blamed it on genetics, but that means little in reality. The truth comes down to making bad choices and not getting any exercise. So I am starting to move now and have changed my eating to better choices and smaller portions. There is a great satisfaction in knowing that I can stop eating by 7pm and still feel good about myself.

My goal is to get to a size 10, or 140. Some people around me think that is too low of a weight, but then they have only seen me big. I will know when to stabilize by the way I feel, and how I look. I have not been that size since I was 10 years old. I get a HUGE smile when I think about being that size.
