I'm in the aviation field; I build one of the worlds finest personal/business jets. I've been in this industry for over 20 yrs, but do to long hours, unhealthy work positions, and eating on the go my body has suffered for it. I’ve made the time to do the things I needed to do except take care of my body. In turn my body began to stop taking care of me, high blood pressure, over weight, joint I'm in the aviation field; I build one of the worlds finest personal/business jets. I've been in this industry for over 20 yrs, but do to long hours, unhealthy work positions, and eating on the go my body has suffered for it. I’ve made the time to do the things I needed to do except take care of my body. In turn my body began to stop taking care of me, high blood pressure, over weight, joint pain, and high cholesterol. If this was not bad enough my spirit to enjoy life was fading. Then I turned 42 and saw a Christmas picture of me I woke up. I saw myself as I really was and I thought to myself if I kept this up I would not see 50.
Depressed and disappointed with myself I began to work out with no real results. My work-outs were not doing what I needed them to do. The trainer at the gym helped but all we accomplished was to help me lift more weight but not get healthier. So I prayed to find the will and the means to change my life. Late one night while drinking and eating on my favorite exercise machine (the couch) I saw P90X. Yes, I've seen the infomercial before yes, I saw a lot of get healthy shows, but for some reason, at this time, by myself alone in the dark the switched was turned on. Finally I saw what I believed could help me, could save me. I started P90X but I was so out of shape I failed the fitness test.
The workouts would leave me exhausted but I completed each workout. I stayed with It! My form was extremely modified; some of the exercises did not look like what Tony was doing. Two weeks past and my form got better and I started loosing weight. I was huge at 280lbs but now at 250lbs I feel better. I work out everyday even on my rest day I do X stretch. I love P90X and Tony.
Thanks for teaching me muscle confusion, and helping me to break my bad habits. I can see my goal of 210lbs and running 3 miles in 18 minutes. I found my It! that keeps me going to the next level P90X and Tony.

1/31/09 Hi everyone since 1/24/09 I've missed some workouts do to a car accident. The doctor put me on couch duty. This is killing me, the accident didn't hurt as much as not being able to do P90X. But then I remembered, muscle confusion and modify. Tony always says "if you can't do it like us? Just keep moving and it will come." So my workouts are very modified and low to no impact. I am still loosing weight! I've dropped another 2lbs! Since I could not workout per P90X format I focused on eating healthier. I stopped cheating on my meals and my body is loving me for it. The doctor says that I am recovering faster than he expected. Thank You! Tony, Beachbody, Wowy family, and coach Crossbarer for coming into my life. Where there is will, there is a way To Bring It!
