Aside from beginning the transformation of my body with the P90X program, I am in the initial stages of big changes in my life. I hope to come out of the next few months a better, happier person.

I was once lean and very athletic. Daily rigors and stresses of life and work have kept me from being as active as I once was. When I started the program, I weighed 267 with the bulk of that weight around my gut. I aim to lose the tire and maybe eventually get a six-pack going. Realistically, I hope that I can shed between 25 to 35 pounds in my first round of the P90X (classic) program.

***update***
I started my second round of P90X on Monday, January 28, 2013. The first half of the first round was stellar, but a new work schedule ate into a lot of my recovery time around the midpoint of that round.

Still, I lost 21 pounds and a my clothes definitely fit me looser. But the most exciting part of getting through round 1 was that I began to see muscle growth in my upper body. I am so happy about this.

I hope to be more productive this time around and hope I can make the best of my work schedule.
