My name is Jayse Anspach. I'm 20 years old. I'm a current college student, just about to transfer into Cal Sate University of Bakersfield after I finish this last semester at Santa Barbara City College. I plan on finishing with a B.A. in Philosophy within the next two years. My aim is to get into a Seminary. I love Jesus and I desire to teach the Scriptures accurately, helping people understand the most important questions of life: What is life all about? What's my purpose? What is my identity? What should I live for? I have been persuaded that Bible is trustworthy and it is God's word to us, answering all these difficult, yet fundamental questions. So I endeavor to learn how to communicate these beautiful truths to others.

I love to read. I just started my first fiction book ever! "The Hobbit" by J.R.R Tolken. I've learned after a few years of only reading non-fiction books that my imagination needs to be exercised as well as my critical thinking. So I endeavor to pick up and read some awesome narratives. I also enjoy surfing. Before I just moved back to Bakersfield, I lived in Santa Barbara for the last two years. I picked up surfing immediately and it's probably the most fun sport on the planet. Unfortunately there is no ocean in Bakersfield, but I will be taking frequent trips to the coast to catch some waves.

Well, there's a little bit about me. Perhaps too much... It's taken me a while to realize how big of an effect exercise and a good diet has on our mind and, may I add, soul. That's why I'm really stoked to join Team Beachbody and start helping others achieve their goals while reaching mine at the same time. It's a privilege. I hope you are spurred to go after your dreams like I am. Get out there!
