I'm what you might consider "one of the lucky ones" when it comes to being thin.
I've always been petite and skinny, but over the years I realized the importance of working out and eating a healthy and nutritious diet. I used to hit up drive thrus like Jack in the Box for my meals and I drank sodas all the time... I never drank water! I also rarely worked out. At this time in my life I was lethargic, moody, sick, and unhappy.
Then, I started researching ways to overcome my depression and found out how whole foods are linked to not only the health of your body, but also the health of your mind! And that working out regularly helps too! So, I completely changed my diet and I began exercising more. Almost four years later and I've changed my diet even more by eating more raw foods and vegan recipes. I also work out 5 times a week, incorporating HIIT (high intensity interval training) with running/walking and yoga. I feel more energized and happy than ever and I never get sick.
Every aspect of my life has changed drastically in a more positive way and I can definitely attribute my health and happiness to this lifestyle of fitness and nutrition.
