My name is John Wolf and I live in Stockton California with my wife and two children. It is truly amazing what TeamBeachBody has done for me. TBB has given me the tools to get my health and life back again. The most amazing thing about TBB, is that I am living proof that anyone can not only succeed in TBB, but can do so in less time than it would take working out at your local Gym. With TBB, I do

My TBB journey began on 5/16/09. My body weight was 210 lbs, with a body fat% of 32%. I had a 43" gut that hung over my pants & most of my free time was spent in front of the TV eating. My cholesterol was at 228, good cholesterol (HDL) at 38, bad cholesterol (LDL) at 132, and my Triglycerides were at 531 (Pre-Diabetic). I was looking at being insuline dependant and/or having a heart attack before I turned 50! I knew I needed to start slow and try to burn as much fat as possible before I attempted P90X. I started with the Express-Slim In 6 (Plan 2) & SI6 "Start It Up". I completed the 6 weeks of SI6 on 06/27/09, and finished my 1st round of P90X on 09/27/09. I have also completed a round of "Insanity", which has been the most challenging TBB program ever. But, the results have also been "Insane". I have gone from a 43" waist down to a 31" waist. Scale weight down from 210lbs to 166lbs. Body fat% down from 32% to 11%. My Cholesterol level is now at 128(-100pts), HDL (good cholesterol) at 41 (+3pts), LDL (bad cholesterol) at 64 (-68pts), and Triglycerides at 114(-417pts)! I have completly reversed my health for the good, added years to my life, and have eliminated ALL prescription medications (I.E. anti-depressants) for good! My energy levels are now through the roof and I feel great at 45yrs young. I have BLOWN AWAY my over-all goal of losing 25lbs or more of body fat. I have to date burned over 50lbs of body fat and gained 13 lbs of lean muscle! I have increased my energy levels and attained a fitness level I had when I played football in College. Although May 16, 2009 is my official start date for my transformation, I had first attempted P90X in September 2008. I had completed the first day of P90X on this date, the date our house was destroyed by fire. I lost everything, including all my fitness equipment, computers and workout CD's. We got away with our lives, but all we had after that day was the clothes on our backs. Needless to say, I stopped working out completely and my body weight ballooned to 217lbs. I was depressed and felt like this was the end? It is true that time does begin to heal old wounds, and after a revitalizing cruise to the Caribbean in April of 2009, I came back with new life! Now, I have finally gained back control of my life again. As an athlete in college, I never experienced being overweight. I was either playing Football or running track in the off-season. Being a sprinter and body-builder, I was very lean and maintained a high level of fitness. I eventually became a Police Officer, and that is when things started to change for me. Over my 8yr career, I was involved in two incidents in which I sustained severe knee damage to my right knee. I have had both an ACL repair and a torn meniscus repair (torn cartlidge). My last injury was a ruptured achilles tendon on my good leg, which I sustained during a foot pursuit. I stopped running altogether, and being sedentary, I found myself in front of the boob tube feeding myself and wallowing in pity. I had an excuse for everything and put the blame for my situation on everyone else. Before our cruise to the caribbean in April, 2009, I was certified to scuba dive in Monterey bay, Ca. My wife took photo's of me before the dive and when I saw the pictures, I was appalled at how I looked. I was ashamed at the person looking back at me. How could I have let myself get this bad? I struggled to keep up with the others in the scuba class and the seals in Monterey Bay swam around me as they probably thought I was a relative? Our cruise pictures were more evidence of how beaten my body had become. It was after I got back from our cruise, that I rejoined Teambeachbody and re-committed myself to the SI6 program and a healthy diet. I made a promise to myself that I would never take another photo again that I feel that ashamed of the person looking back at me. This time, I will do whatever it takes to succeed and help others to reach their goals as well.
