After I had my second child at the age of 35, I became a fat thin person. Finally, I decided that I had enough. I just didn't have the energy to keep up with my little girl. In December 2005, I did More ...
After I had my second child at the age of 35, I became a fat thin person. Finally, I decided that I had enough. I just didn't have the energy to keep up with my little girl. In December 2005, I did an online search for Kathy Smith videos since that is who I worked out to for years in the 80s and 90s and stumbled upon Project: YOU offered by Beachbody. I was impressed that it was a total workout program complete with several workouts and an eating plan. When I got my program in the mail, I was impressed with the quality of the workouts and the accompanying materials. I also learned that diet is a huge part of whether a program will be successful for you. I actually thought it didn't matter what you ate! I made it my New Year's Resolution to get fit. After I finished Project: YOU, I looked at what else Beachbody had to offer. I came across Turbo Jam and after reading the Beachbody forums I ordered it right away. I have loved every Turbo Jam workout that I did. In December 2006, I made another New Year's resolution to get ripped. I ordered P90X and did two rounds of that with Hip Hop Abs in between rounds. I then alternated between Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Jam. As time went on, life got overwhelming, and I lost my motivation. Again, I decided to make another New Year's resolution (December 2008) to get back into shape and not to let this happen to me again. I ordered ChaLEAN Extreme and am currently loving every sweaty minute of it. I also decided to take the next step and become a Coach. I am excited about where this new adventure will take me.
