Hi y'all,
My name is Justin Chandler. I'm a 20 year old former athlete from Oklahoma. Growing up as a kid and teen I was always extremely active and fit, as well as being a better-than-average athlete. I played 5 sports in high school (football, track, baseball, soccer, basketball) and had success in most. I ended up taking a track/football scholarship to a private school in Kansas and the last day of two-a-days for football I tore my ACL and meniscus in my right knee. This discouraged me from continuing school there and ultimately led me to leave. Since then I have gained about 20-30 lbs (went from roughly 140 senior year of high school to now 160-170) which I was okay with, being that I've always wanted to put on more weight, but its not the kind of weight I want: the healthy, lean, muscle weight. I purchased Insanity: The Asylum over a month ago and only did a few days and then my knees started aching. I stopped and forgot about it. Now, after playing an alumni basketball game and seeing how badly out of shape I am, I am deciding to get it back out and give it another chance. I am hoping to gain back my old speed and strength and not have to deal with pains and aches like I'm in my 40s or 50s when I'm only 20. So, I am hoping that someone sees this and helps me throughout this journey. I know it won't be easy, and I will probably take it a little slower this time, but I want results. If you took the time to read this all, please take the time to send me a message or comment, or whatever way of communicating with me that you can, and just give me a little motivation, confidence boost, tip, or whatever you can to keep me going. If you do so for me, I will be forever thankful!
