*Updated! My son was born 10/15/11 and although I'm down to my pre-pregnancy weight (9 months on, 9 months off) I'm still carrying around the extra baby weight from my daughter, who's now 6!! My fitness is a constant journey.

I’ve always been interested in fitness…started when I was a little girl, working out to my Mom’s Jane Fonda VHS tapes in my leg warmers and sweat band. But, when I was in grade school, my weight skyrocketed! Luckily, I was able to lose the weight one summer, and was able to keep it off!

My daughter was born in 2005. I gained 51 lbs with my pregnancy, and because I was somewhat ‘high risk’ my Dr said “Nope” to any exercise during my first trimester. I was teaching aerobics at the time and this was the hardest thing for me to do, but my pregnancy and the health of my baby was my priority.

After my daughter was born, I struggled to lose the weight. Even though I knew what I had to do, finding the motivation when you’re on little to no sleep was difficult. That’s when I came back to Turbo Kick (aka Turbo Jam). I started plopping my training videos in the DVD player during my daughter’s naps and I was on my way! I quickly lost 30 of the 51 lbs I had gained during my pregnancy, started teaching again, and found my motivation. I still have some ‘baby weight’ I need to lose, but YOU will help ME stay accountable, and I’ll do the same for YOU!

“Inspiration through Fitness” is my motto. It is my goal to help people make fitness a priority in their lives. And, if I’m able to inspire you to make changes in your life towards a healthier and happier you with my story, then I’ve done my job!

I’m looking forward to sharing my fitness journey with you, and helping you with yours!
