Here's a little about me (I hope to get to know you soon) I'm married with 3 Very Young Children (5 yr old Boy and 4yr old Twins one Boy One Girl) and a Demanding Travel Schedule. I was looking for a way to get back in shape and to a healthier lifestyle since I had really let myself go. I was in Great Shape just 4 years ago! I was working out for over an Hello! I was looking for a way to get back in shape and to a healthier lifestyle since I had really let myself go. I was in Great Shape just 4 years ago! I was working out for over an hour per day 7 days per week consistently I ate healthy and researched all I could on Natural Supplements, Remedies and Living Clean & Healthy. I stopped working out and I began a job with a lot of overnight travel. I slacked off on eating right and could not seem to get going with my workouts. I found Power 90, Power 90 Master Series and recently P90X. Together with Beachbody and the Community I am now on track to achieve my goals and feel like I'm Back! I Started with Power 90(again)and am adding the Master Series DVDs for Variety and FUN! My fitness Goal at this time is to achieve my Best Body by August 2009. I have about 30 - 35 more lbs to shed and want to get it done as efficiently as I can. Another longtime goal of mine was to help other people achieve a healthy and fit lifestyle. January 1, 2012 I had excellent success last year and then "LIFE" happened. Had some major setbacks that filled me with self doubt and also had me feeling pretty down, low energy and not wanting to workout at all. Even though I am a Coach, I still slipped out of the fitness habit. How on earth could I do that!!???? So, feeling like I let my clients, my coach team and myself down, there is only one thing to do! Pick things back up. I am now doing an awesome New program Less Mills Pump. Day one is January 2 and this is going to change my direction for sure. I am doing it for me, my family and my clients! I want everyone to know that no matter how far down you think you are, you can always choose to fight back and pick your self up. Attach yourself to great friends and make it work for you! More news to come for sure! ******************************************************* When I was in shape previously, I found Beachbody & it helped me stay in shape while traveling. With the DVDs and resistance bands I got a full workout right in my hotel room. I like the ability to adjust to MY level using the Power 90 and Master Series system. I am very eager to finish this round of Power 90 program and undo the damage I have done by not eating right and not working out Then it's on to the X! ************************************************************ January 4, 2010 The journey continues. I must give full disclosure here :) I like many people managed to slide off my fitness schedule and really suffered. The good news is that my weight is not entirely back to the way it was but I did gain about 17 pounds over the past few months. I guess it's been about 8 or 9 months since the backslide. The bad news is the gains are all FAT as I can see in my recent measurements. I had some difficult things happen in my life over the past months with Family, Job, economy etc. I guess I let it get to me. So enough of the pity party I am on to my bigger and better goals! I think it's important to share experiences because people think just because your a Beachbody coach you need to or are always in top shape. While it certainly helps, it is not 100% of the solution. The solution is 100% in you and I on what we do and how we respond to challenge. So, what do I do? Well I took my measurements, got my workouts back on track and scheduled and am ready to Hit ChaLEAN Extreme HARD. I always go back to what worked before. I try to capture that mindset in the habits I had before. It starts with just doing the things I did before and that helps my mind catch up and take me the rest of the way! So January 4 is the continuation of my fitness journey. I committed to myself that I will win a transformation contest this year and I will do that! Thanks for Supporting and joining MY journey! More to come... ************************************************************ June 14th 2009 Update: I did complete a round of p90X finally I will say though I did not follow th meal plan at all and really ate poorly during almost the entire 90 days :( So, If you were wondering if the nutrition plan is really needed I can tell you YES!! I did manage to hold my progress that I had made so that is good. I did not really gain anything despite eating very bad (had some life challenges but at lest I pushed play everyday!) I am now on to my 2nd round of ChaLEAN Extreme. I am trying to duplicate my results from the 1st round. In one week I have already lost some weight and am right back to the weight I was when I finished the 2nd round so that is good. My measurements help pretty well too. I will have to take some progress pictures this time. That was something I did not do previous programs. So on day 30 I will take photos and post them! ************************************************************ MAY 10 2009 UPDATE!: I did finish ChaLEAN Extreme. I lost about 34 pounds and well over 20 total inches. It is really my new favorite Program. Since Finishing the 90 days with ChaLEAN Extreme I did move on to another goal of Finishing P90X! I am in week 9 now and It is going great. I have never made it this far with P90X! I will finish the 90 days and then head back to ChaLEAN Extreme or if it's out the NEW Program from Shaun T INSANITY!!!! I was privileged to have a very short live sample workout with Shaun T not tool long ago and Man this one is named right for sure!! It is Intense! I really love that the Beachbody Catalog is so broad and gives so much variety. It is so easy to stick to your program because 1 the programs work and 2 you never get bored (or hit that plateau!) March 4 Update Still going strong with ChaLEAN Extreme! Down just over 23 pounds total and also down 20+ total inches. Have not missed a workout in 10 weeks! I am please that many of my customers are also now doing the program! Keep Pushing Play! Feb. 16, 2009 Update: MOved my other updates to the bottom! I have once again not given up and find myself on track for my goals now. Reading my previous progress I can't believe I let myself fall back into bad habits. Job stress, travel and all around depression got the better of me for a while. enough of all that. I found ChaLEAN Extreme about 60 days ago. I am in day 60 and have not missed a day yet. I am feeling much different about my fitness and have seen great results so far. at day 60 I am down 20 pounds, and a total of 17 inches!! I feel different and am building lean muscle that really is changing the way I look and feel. For my coach business, I am really making things happen. My experiences with all the programs, my stops and starts, make me really understand what people go through. I really love helping others push through. I am so glad I found the coaching side of Beachbody. It makes a big difference. Not only am I making changes in my life but I get to help others as well. It feels so good to get a thank you note or progress check from a Beachbody customer on their fitness journey. In the Lean Phase of ChaLEAN Extreme today. It is EXTREME for sure. I can't wait to see my day 90 results! ************************************************************ UPDATE: I am 1 day away from the all important Day 30! I was able to keep with the program without missing any days so far! The great thing about it is that I had (like other people) a lot of reasons....uh OK, excuses to not be fit. My wife and I have 3 children (2yrs and 1 yr. old twins) I travel 3 - 4 days out of the week for my job. I also run a real estate investing business that takes a lot of my time. So with all that I am still able to wake up at 4:30am (Sometimes 4:45) and get my butt going by 5 or 5:15. I check the boards here and off I go to WOWY for a great workout. I found it is much easier to wake up early and get the workout in before the day and the little ones get ready for attention :) So far I feel much stronger and have a bunch more energy. I used to slowly wake up in the morning. Now I wake up excited to workout and I feel a lot better. I can do more push-ups, crunches and squats! "Things Are Happening!" I am very excited about day 30. This is the day I become a coach! Thanks MDB! UPDATE!!: I reached Day 90 Yesterday 11/24/07!!!! I completed one round of Power 90. I learned a lot along the way and am geared up for a 30 day round of Turbo Jam and then on to P90X! I want to take things to the next level with a little more fat to shed with Turbo Jam and then get real tone and defined with P90X. My focus this round will be strict with Diet. That is going to be the key to me achieving my best body ever over the next few months! THANKS MDB for giving me the tools to succeed!! Coaching Update! I am loving the coach side of MDB as well. I like the clients I get to interact with and help. It is very satisfying to help others at the same time helping myself achieve Fitness and overall wellness! Update for 2008! It's Jan. 1st 2008! Happy New You everyone! I started my Next phase of my fitness journey yesterday. I began P90X! This is absolutely an extreme workout and I look forward to the results it will bring. I will be mixing in a little Turbo Jam and really going for it over the next 90 days. I can't wait to post more progress. With Power 90 I built strength and some muscle definition. I want the X to really Define the muscle and shred the fat off. I have lost about 22 pounds so far and quite a few inches. People are noticing my transformation and I am excited to see what I can do over the next 90 days! 2 weeks into P90X and I am lovin it! This is a great workout and I can already see and feel results. Update 1-26-08: P90X is great. I have missed a few workouts the past 2 weeks. I let my work and travel schedule get the better of me. It's OK though because I get right back into it. I know that I am living a healthier lifestyle because in the past a missed day would take me weeks even months to get "started" again. Now I just pick up the next day! I am mixing P90X with Turbo Jam now. I just love turbo Jam for my cardio! THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT & STICKING TO IT WITH ME!
