Welcome to Team Beachbody! I have always been concerned about staying fit and healthy and Beachbody has a great support system to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle. I work out in the mornings before heading off to my job as a agricultural loan officer. I don't have any children yet (this changed, see updates below!), but once I do I'm sure I'll need the extra support and products that Welcome to Team Beachbody! I'm learning more about this company everyday and am excited about all of the great things it has to offer. For those of you who may want to start an exercise program, I really encourage you to get started today. The sooner you start eating healthy and exercising, the sooner you'll have a body you love. Go to the shop for products link and pick a program that looks like it will work for you. And if you're like me and want variety, pick 2 so you can switch it up! If you have any questions, just contact me and I'll help you pick one that's right for you. There are so many people who are changing their lives through these programs, and I would love to be there for you as you change yours!
8/30/08 Update (Day 338)
I just finished P90X last week. WOW! I am so amazed with my body. I continued to improve as each week went by, and I love the results. I feel stronger than I ever have. P90X is an amazing program, I encourage you all to make that your goal someday. Completing P90X is empowering! AND, we have found out that we are expecting our first child in March! So my body will again be changing, but I'm really looking forward to it. I will be doing a mix of Power half hour to keep my muscle tone and some Turbo Jam and Slim in 6 for Cardio. I'm going to be a fit mom!
Update 1/19/09
Here I am, 7 months pregnant! I have continued to workout throughout my pregnancy and it has really helped. My weight has stayed in check, and it's even helping me with my backaches that I've been experiencing. I feel like I'll be able to handle labor better, and bounce back faster after my son's birth than if I didn't exercise. Although I may not be pushing as hard as I used to, I know it is best for me and my baby to continue to work out. It's getting harder to touch my toes though with my belly in the way! After I've recovered from delivery, I hope to try ChaLean Extreme!
5/17/09 update
Well I had my baby in March, a little boy! I can now understand how all you mothers find it hard to find time to work out! I exercised up until the day I went into labor and my delivery went really well because I was still fit. I never had any swelling, and the doctor and nurses laughed at my flexibility and were amazed I was able to push for 3 hours. Thank you beachbody! I took 3 weeks off of working out to heal, I just couldn't go for 6, I was going nuts. I was still amazed and how much muscle tone I had lost in those 3 weeks, so it's very important to be consistent in your workouts! I just started Power 90 last week and am anxious to see how that does for me.

I have always been an active person and tried to remain relatively fit. After high school sports were over, I found it hard to stay motivated to work out. I would work out for a few months, then quit for a while and then start again. I have never been consistent until a few years ago when I finally figured out what worked for me. I get bored too easily in my workouts so variety is the key. I enjoy doing all the different workout videos and also mix in some weight training and yoga. I have consistently exercised 20-60 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week for the past 3 years and am happier with my body than I have ever been. My goal is to stay physically fit and enjoy life. I would also really like to help others achieve their fitness goals and be happy with themselves when they look in the mirror. Life is too short to be unhappy, commit to your health and fitness today!
