In March of 2009 I took second place at the Masters Track championship in the W40-44 60m dash with a time of 8.67s! I love competition and I love Beachbody too!

In May of 2002 I ordered my 1st Beachbody product, Power 90. I’ve been hooked ever since. After about a year of Power 90 , another job, and another move, I started Slim in 6. I talked about Beachbody so much, I got my sister to try Hip Hop Abs. She’s loving it and her 14% body fat! Another year passed.
I moved again and in 2005 married the man of my dreams, Lloyd. Two months after we were married, he was diagnosed with kidney disease. During the four years he was on the kidney transplant list, I started Turbo Jam. In July of ’08 it was Ten Minute Trainer. In October of '08 I ordered P90X. I wasn’t ready for the hour long workouts. So in December of '08, I started Chalean Extreme.
This year, I started Insanity, The Asylum to prepare me for the USATF Masters Track Championship. However, while running the 200m at a meet in Ohio, I pulled my right hamstring. That pull ended my 2011 track season. I got 6 weeks of physical therapy though so I can make a comeback for the 2011-2012 season.
Lloyd and I recently won a juicer. We drink Shakeology and the P90X Recovery Drink. The Team Beachbody Club also offers nutrition support. The meal plans are simple and easy to follow which works good for us.
I am working out again with several of the Beachbody programs. Join me sometime in WOWY so we can work towards our goals together.

My transformation started in 2006 when I saw a picture of myself at the Masters Outdoor Track Championships held in North Carolina. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well that picture and my times at that meet said it all. I had gained 20 pounds and had gone from running 12.7 s 100m dashes to running them in 13.7s! I used to be able to compete without training. But over almost 10 years I became more prone to shin splints, calf strains, hamstring tightness, and lower back strains. I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted without putting on a pound. The scale said differently. Then I found out I had high blood pressure. That was my wakeup call. I have to exercise regularly to stay fit AND eat right to stay healthy. In June of this year I pulled my hamstring. After six weeks of rehab and physical therapy, I can start training again. I'm juicing now and eating healthier. And I'll strive to push play at least twenty times a month.

12/11/11 I tried on the red dress that Lloyd got me for Christmas. The size is actually right, but I do not look good in it. I need to reduce my obliques. When I do that, I might actually be a couple of sizes More ... 12/08/11 I received my copy of P90X2 this week. I am still doing Insanity, but decided to combine the two routines. Tonight I did the Recovery + Mobility dvd. My lower back was very tight and now it feels More ... 11/30/11 I have not lost much weight doing Insanity and I am in week 4.
