It starts quite simply.
I hit 40/41 and realized I was totally out of shape. Love handles, the belly that was not huge but always had to suck it in if I hit the beach. I would see other guys More ...
It starts quite simply.
I hit 40/41 and realized I was totally out of shape. Love handles, the belly that was not huge but always had to suck it in if I hit the beach. I would see other guys older than me who were in better shape and it was embarrassing. I saw the beachbody infomercial late one night and thought about it for MONTHS!, I of course taped it, and one day as I drove over some streetcar tracks, I felt my tummy bounce down over my belt and bounce right BACK UP over it! I laughed… sort of!

Then I went back to the tape I had made of the infomercial and at some point I heard that Tony Horton was in his forties!! That was it! I had to do something. I ordered the Slim in six and got to it. I wanted fast results but I wasn't totally committed and a bit lazy as well as skeptical still. I plodded along not knowing how great slim in six was and how I was missing out by not following it properly. Eventually I bought Power Half Hour and got on it big time. I loved the heavy weights and resistance training and that's when I really got motivated, everyone thrives in a different environment and I needed to work with heavy weights to get my motivation up there. My cardio abilities were always very sad indeed. Then along came P90 X which I'm in the middle of right now and getting great results.
