Hi everyone, my name is Kristi. I am currently living in Morgantown, WV attending West Virginia University for my Masters in Art Education!

I played softball for 14 years, year round. If we weren't in season, we were training for it. I never had a problem with my weight. I started my undergrad in the fall of 2007 and I stopped playing softball. I tried to make it to the gym when I could, but that didn't happen as often as I would have liked. However, I still maintained my weight throughout my undergraduate degree. I put on maybe 10lbs in those 4 years. Definitely never met that "freshman 15" that everyone talks about.

Then, I started graduate school in the fall of 2011 and I lived alone for the first time. I started to eat when I was bored, and definitely didn't eat properly. After my first year of graduate school, I put on another 10lbs.

In August of 2012, my fiance and I moved in together and by December I had put on another 10lbs. We ate out too much, and I have a severe obsession with potato chips. You can lay a million donuts, cakes, cookies, pastries, etc.. in front of me and I could care less. Put ANY size bag of potato chips (even the family size bags) and I'd probably eat the whole thing. It's bad.

That's gaining a total of almost 30lbs, if not more, since high school.
(And I thought I was "fat" back then! haha)

At the same time, my fiance wasn't happy with himself either. So we decided it was time for a change. We started Insanity together on January 21st! We also have P90X, his parents bought it for him for Christmas 5 years ago. If things go as planned and we stick to this, we are going to try to tackle P90X after we finish Insanity.
