Hey guys! Got my first Beachbody program after seeing an infomercial for Insanity in what must have been 2009, at age 19. Back then, I was 140, still just over 5 '2', and soft everywhere.

Hey guys! Got my first Beachbody program after seeing an infomercial for Insanity in what must have been 2009, at age 19. Back then, I was 140, still just over 5 '2', and soft everywhere.

Did Insanity, and definitely improved my cardiovascular health and got my previously never-worked-out body acclimated to hard exercise, but didn't really lose any weight or tone up as much as I might have liked.

Next up, I did P90X, and completed the program twice. Lost about 5 pounds and toned up a little bit. Liked it, and I liked lifting weights. At that point however I thought my body just was meant to be 135 pounds and kinda bootylicious. Until I found ChaLean Extreme.

Fast forward through 3 months with ChaLean, and I lost 15-20 pounds and toned up everywhere! It's my soulmate workout for sure, and I still follow the program, and have most maintained my weight.

The past few months, however, I've gotten back up to 120-125 pounds after doing the CLX/TurboFire hybrid. Weird, right? Well, I wasn't doing as good of job eating clean or enough calories, and honestly I don't think that the style of intense cardio works for my petite figure...based on my history of exercise, especially with Insanity.

So, after about a month off of CLX, lifting weights and with some supplemental TF workouts in there to keep my endurance up, I'm re-starting ChaLean, old-school style. I am, however, adding in some more workouts, mostly focused on strength: yoga, Ballet Beautiful, and The Spartacus Workout. So the new program is a hybrid but one of my own design! Today I'm in the first week. Keep you posted!

**Update: Hey all. Did the CLX hybrid I mentioned above, and got to the Push month, also incorporating BBL. Finally, I faced reality: I have plateaued on ChaLean! While I've maintained my size, and weight isn't a crazy part of the issue, I do want to get back into fighting shape, meaning toning up, reducing body fat, and if weight goes down too, then so be it! ;) So, I've just started Body Beast!
