I have been actively involved in fitness since I was in high school, but always struggled with a positive body image. I was one of those students who wore the baggy shirts and sweatpants so that I could hide what was underneath. It wasn't until an instructor of mine in college told me to be proud of my body. Since then, my focus turned to promoting a healthier lifestyle and the positive aspects of fitness. My weight has fluctuated depending upon what is happening in my life, but the one constant factor has been my fitness regimen. About two years ago I saw the Turbo Jam infomercial and I was immediately intrigued. I think I watched it about three times before I finally said, "That's it!! I have to have it!" Being an instructor, I'm probably more critical about teaching formats, etc., and I was so impressed with Chalene's program. I immediately started searching the web to find out how I could teach it to my students. I am absolutely HOOKED on Turbo, and it has helped me to reshape my core and my lower body. Teaching TK is also unlike any class I've ever taught - it is so much fun to work out now with my class. My students actually smile while they're getting an awesome workout!

I only teach once or twice per week, so I find creative ways to fit three to four more workouts during the week. I am really excited about the Beachbody program because it will help me reach my goals, which includes eating healthier and continuously improving my fitness program. We can never stop working towards a healthier lifestyle. This is also why I became a Beachbody Coach - I want to share my love for fitness and to help others feel better about themselves.
