WARSAW, MO I am one lucky woman!! I have a hunk of a husband who loves me to pieces, a savior named Jesus who loves me even more, and 5 beautiful children ages 1,4,6,8, and 10. I have it all!! I even have 50 extra pounds I need to shed. I tell you I am blessed....and I have some excess;) that is slowin' me down. Time to set it free from my hips:). UPDATE MARCH 6,2008 I am experiencing great progress, I am one lucky woman!! I have a hunk of a husband who loves me to pieces, a savior named Jesus who loves me even more, and 5 beautiful children ages 1,4,6,8, and 10. I have it all!! I even have 50 extra pounds I need to shed. I tell you I am blessed....and I have some excess;) that is slowin' me down. Time to set it free from my hips:). UPDATE MARCH 6,2008 I am experiencing great progress, and I am very excited to report I am down 22lbs. and 19 inches from my start date. I am half way there! What an incredible journey to health this is! Won't you join me on the trip!! Metamorphosis in progress......jump on board!

I have struggled with my weight since 16 years of age, because I have always set a time period when I would diet, and once I achieved my goal weight, life went back to the way it was. I would enjoy a More ...
I have struggled with my weight since 16 years of age, because I have always set a time period when I would diet, and once I achieved my goal weight, life went back to the way it was. I would enjoy a slim physique for a while, and then slowly fall back into enjoying more than I needed to eat instead. I have come to the realization that I must get off the roller coaster of losing quickly for some immediate goal, and instead choose to make consistent healthy choices that may seem minuscule in and of themselves, but add up to losses over time.
Thus far in life, if my diet were viewed as a train track you would see a track layed out with sharp jutty turns from right to left. I have thus far lived in a mode of over correcting bad behavior, going to the extreme right, and then letting go of the wheel which naturally turns to the left to gain weight again. In hindsight, doesn't life seem like a much easier ride to just lay the track straight with a few right and left curves? It looks so much easier. Hindsight is 20/20 live and learn.
